Overview
PinFlicker integrates with Pinterest via the official API to generate and publish Pins on your behalf. We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the product and never sell personal data.
Data We Collect
- Account identifiers from Pinterest (user ID, username) obtained via OAuth.
- Access tokens and refresh tokens to post Pins (stored encrypted).
- Sitemaps and blog post URLs you provide for content generation.
- Generated Pin metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) and image URLs.
- Basic analytics (impressions, saves, clicks) to display performance.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate your Pinterest account and maintain a secure session.
- To fetch your boards and publish Pins you authorize.
- To generate Pin ideas and images for your selected blog posts.
- To show performance metrics inside the product.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with Pinterest (for posting Pins via API) and our image generation provider(s) strictly to render your images.
Retention & Deletion
Access tokens are rotated and stored securely. You can revoke access anytime in Pinterest settings. To request deletion of all stored data, email privacy@pinflicker.com and we will confirm deletion within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted storage for tokens, TLS in transit, and least‑privilege permissions. If we detect suspicious activity, tokens are revoked and you will be notified.
Your Controls
- Disconnect PinFlicker from your Pinterest account at any time.
- Request data export or deletion via email.
- Opt‑out of analytics by contacting support.
